If you join the Ameniti program then you could get 2 business class seats for the price of 1 on Singapore Airlines or United.
ANA sometimes has business class specials www.fly-ana.com

Stay away from Ameniti. I asked them for two first class tickets to Hartford from Boise, they quoted me 7500.00. internet fare (UAL) was 2500.00. So I said no thanks I can get internet for 2500. so they said we can MATCH that but we'll upgrade you to first class at the gate, your ticket will be economy. I said no thanks and ran my $250 Ameniti card thru the shredder.

It's very hard to find reasonably priced business class fares. The way I fly business class is by redeeming my frequent flier miles. You can get business class space on EVA Air in their Evergreen Deluxe Class for a reasonable price. No matter what you decide to do for this trip, take a look at your airline use, sign up for frequent flier programs and consolidate most/all of your flying onto one airline and its partners.

We are in LA also and have used the IACE agency over on Sawtelle for biz class tkts to BKK on NWA-they've been running about $2500 with a change of planes in NRT and lie-flat seats. If you have UA miles, you can buy a tkt for around $1300 and upgrade with miles, 30,000 each way. Good luck!
