How much time is enough to explore Frankfurt on a layover?
Have a 4.5 hr layover in Frankfurt. Is this enough time to leave the airport?

Agree with nytraveler. You may well want all that time to make connecting flights if your plane is late. After a cup of coffee and a snack and newspaper you'll be ready to board the next flight.

I agree unfortunatelly no, Frankfurt is a nice city however most of the historic buildings if I am not wrong were destroyed during the War and have been rebuilt.
