How long does it take to get from Positano to train station in Naples
We would like to catch the 9:48am train from Naples to Florence on Saturday July 28th.
I would like to reserve a private transfer to get us to Naples but have no idea of what time to book the driver for.Can anyone help? How long does it take to drive this route?

depends on a couple of things.
Bus being on time to train station at Sorrento and train to Naples is about 1/2hr. Traffic on the road to Sorrento and all the usual Italian hangups, driver could run into these as well.
If all went well I would allow 2 hrs for a little wiggle room.
Since you have such an early train I would bite the bullet and stay in Naples the night before.
The Hotel Europa is just a block from the station, cheap 70e twin (not fancy, but very clean, TV, etc.)it will cost you about the same as hiring a driver and you know you will be there in time.
