I believe you can also take the FREE local bus to get to the Marriott. Not sure about which bus or how late it runs.

How many people is "we"? Since the Hoppa costs £4pp, you might as well just take a cab.

thank you, it is 2 of us. I think there is a free bus, so I will look into that. Looks like the hoppa is out, the cab is always an option. thanks again, PJ

Yes, you can take a free local bus from Heathrow to the Marriott. Just ask the bus driver if he goes along Bath Road. I don't remember the numbers, but somewhere on the web, someone has enumerated them. All the buses are in the same bus loop, so it's not hard to go from one to another and ask.

If you go thru the reviews on the Marriott on tripadvisor, you should be able to find out which bus # it is that runs to the Marriott. I believe these buses run all night.

I guess it all depends on how tired you'll be at that point. It sounds like a cab will be about 10 GBP.

Frome tripadvisor:
thank you for the tip YK!!

I recommend using the local buses to heathrow central coach station wich are free and frequent and can be boarded across the road from the hotel for going to the airport, and on return there is a stop just outside the hotel, opposed to using the airport hoppa priced at £4 per person each way !!!! we found there to be plenty of room for luggage on the buses that we used wich where the local red ones, only thing you have to do different to the hoppa bus is make your way to the airport terminal you need to be at from heathrow central coach station.
