There are no trains running on Christmas Day in the UK.

They will *probably* run on Boxing Day, but with limited/reduced service.

SUMMAGOLD: some trains will be running on Boxing Day - but maybe not to the places you want to travel. The rail companies use the down time over the holidays to catch up on maintenance work.

Do you mean a day trip in the UK or on the Continent? If you mean taking the Eurostar to Paris or Brussels - yes it runs on Boxing Day but will likely book solid for that weekend.
