How do I stay in "Italy" tag to read numerous questions?
Is there a way when I get to the list of "Italy" tagged questions that I can read one that interests me and then go back to the list of other questions. It seems that when I read one question I have to click on Italy and reload all the questions again. It is a waste of time and it is so SLOW. Is there something I am missing? Duh?
Also, why when you go to the Italy tag on the left side there are questions about everyplace that I am not interested in. It seems that everything on the page should be about Italy.
New format does not make me a happy camper.

This change is my biggest disappointment. My only solution has been to exit the thread by clicking my "back" arrow which takes me back to the list. I sent my feedback about this problem to the editors earlier this evening.

The forum now works the same for country tags or for threads by date. The threads are in the middle of the screen. When you click on a thread to read it and then you want to go to the next thread you have to click your back browser arrow to see the threads in the middle of the screen again.
It's very confusing. It's the same when you want to access threads with the last post of a couple of days ago. What you see in the pink column on the left is the current threads.

Yes, either:
1) Use the BACK button to get back to the Italy-only page, or
2) Open 2 windows: 1 window for the Italy-only page, and open each link in the 2nd window.
This is the same for whichever country, or activity by date listings.

Some of these ideas are more about learning how to use our computers than how to use the new site. Nonetheless they are very useful. Isn't that what the forum about Forums Help is supposed to be about. Maybe Fodors can find a way to gather all of this information in one place and publish it as a kind of "pinned" topic on how to navigate and search most successfully.

The problem is....I don't come to a travel forum to learn how to use my computer. I will go to a forum that makes it easy for me to find the necessary information and answer my questions. At the present time, the new format does neither of those. For the past 2 days I have tried to look-in and see what is happening and both times have decided it is just too complicated to find those simple answers I am looking for.

BarbB57 - perhaps you can tell us what you're looking for and we can help. Remember the very first time you visit a website/forum? At least for me, it usually takes me a while (could be days or weeks) to get a "hang" of a forum to understand how it works. It's just a matter of getting a hang of the new forum now.
