Don't mean to barge in on OP's thread but we will be in Prague in October(6 wks away) and still undecided on a hotel. We can get K&K Central(Hotels.com) for $175 and breakfast is included. Our other option may be priceline and so far our offer has not been accepted. There is a ***** Marriott that looks great but breakfast most likely is not included. PL possibly would accept $175 for this hotel. Some of the smaller hotels look nice but seem to be $200 and over. This is our first visit to Prague and a good location is important.

I was traveling with my two oldest children and we stayed at the Hotel Residence Lundborg (http://www.lundborg.se/) and it was perfect. It is right next to the Charles Bridge and we walked everywhere easily. There was an ATM around the corner and a lot of restaurants. The front desk was extremely helpful and the price included breakfast. I believe we paid around $120 a night. Can't recommend it enough--it was our favorite of the four hotels we stayed in.

I will be staying at Hotel Julian in Mala Strana next week and I will certainly report when I get back. It gets great Trip Advisor reviews and the price seems right. While the location is a bit of a walk, they are perfectly situated near several trams that go everywhere.
