Hotels In Zermatt
Has anybody stayed at the following Hotels in Zermatt....
Hotel Walliserhof,
Hotel Allalin
Hotel Sonne-Masch
Hotel Christiana
My wife and I are leaning towards the Hotel Sonne Masch as it looks very romantic but also a little more expensive. The Hotel Walliserhof seems to get all of the reviews but I'm not sure why from looking at their website. Anyways, thanks in advance for your help.
Any other suggestions would be helpful. I have a budget of $150-$200/night.

Maybe not applicable to your situation, but if I returned to Zermatt I'd want to ensure my room had unobstructed view of Matterhorn; maybe better a premiem room in an econo hotel over an econo room in a posh hotel for example. The mt is so steep that the view radically changes from hour to hour movements of the sun, so it's best to be positioned to catch that with a casual glance.
Also if bad weather hits, it's nice to have comfy free internet terminals, like my $59 hotel had (as well as a view). Not sure how you ensure such things - seemed like even some pricey hotels had view blockage problems...

Don't know if you've already gone on your trip or not but my husband spent a long weekend in early March at the Sonne-Masch and loved it. He said it was well located, lovely views, great hosts, etc. In fact, he and my son are there now for another long weekend as a part of spring break. The hosts/owners were very gracious and helpful.
