Hotels in Florence with a pool
that won't break the bank? Do they exist?
If it's not directly in Florence but very near (short taxi or long walk), that's okay too.
Any suggestions, we are a family of 4 and the Four Seasons or 5 stars are way too expensive, for 2 rooms, thanks!

www.orbitz.com allows you to narrow your search to include hotels with pools only. It is at the bottom and says something like, allow me to choose my amenities.
That will get you started with some names at least even if you don't want to book through orbitz.

Just wanted to be sure that having a pool is a higher priority than a central location. The best located hotels, in the historical centers, tend not to have pools (true of most buildings over 300 years old). Hotels with pools tend to be on the outskirts - which is fine if pool is the main priority - just thought this might help.

nina: I checked tripadvisor.com for reviews of both hotels. As expected, the Grand Minerva got higher ratings, but the ratings for the Hotel Kraft weren't so bad.
Only you know what sorts of rooms you require and what your standards are.
Have you read both sets of reviews?
