Florence - choice of 2 hotels

It has to be one of these two for me due to getting rooms w/ points.<BR><BR>Westin Excelsior<BR>Grand Hotel<BR><BR>I'll be there for two nights. I thought about a night in each hotel, but I don't know how far apart they are and how tough it would be to move. I will be coming from Rome with a stop in Pisa, then going on to Venice. Thanks!

one more bump. Please, any thoughts on which of these hotels is in a better location and is nicer?

I have never stayed at the Grand Hotel, only the Savoy and Plaza Lucchesi. However, I do know the hotels are next to each other on Ognissanti. The Excelsior &quot;looks&quot; like it would be a more luxurious affair. But, I have never been beyond the fabulously appointed lobby.
