HOTEL(S) AT FRANKFURT AIRPORT

I need a hotel for one night @ the Frankfurt airport. Any recommendations?

There is a Sheraton attached to the airport. Great convenience if the price isn't outside of your budget. We stayed at a Novotel about 3 minutes from the airport. Nothing special but it was under $100 per night.

Have stayed at the Sheraton @ the airport in FRA many times. It is quite nice now that it has been remodeled extensively 2 years ago. For convenience you can not beat it. Conveneniently attached to the airport via a short skywalk, down the escalator to the ticketing area and to the gates. Restaurants are not bad & if you need to go downtown it is but a short taxi ride or you can catch the train down stairs in the airport.

If you are budget-conscience, we typically use the Achat Hotel in nearby Langen. They have a shuttle that will pick you up and drop you off at the airport and it takes about 15-20 minutes.

The hotel is clean, comfortable and cheap, with a decent restaurant on the premises. Try this site: http://www.boekings.nl/achatfrankfurt.de.en.html.

Good luck.

We always stay at the Holiday Inn Express. It's reasonable (about 65 Euro for a day room, not sure what an overnight will run you) and they have a shuttle to the airport and back for a small fee. It's about a 10-15 minute drive from the airport and a convenient place to stay.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express near the Airport over Memorial Day. We booked directly through the hotel's website (link on Holiday Inn website) and received a rate of 55 Euros including a huge buffet breakfast. There is a shuttle for 6 Euros each way to and from the airport (ten minutes or so). The hotel is quite new, extremely clean, very quiet, and a good bargain. We had a room with a king bed and a sleeper sofa. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and polite.
