hotel reviews

Have booked the Holiday Inn Kensington (not Forum) for July for 2 nights. Any thoughts? I found it rather hard to find a hotel for a family of four without booking 2 rooms.

I did a search on google.com for quad hotel rooms in London and came up with the following:

http://www.easy-london-hotels.com/

I plugged in arbitrary dates of July 12-14 and a number of hotels popped up with very reasonable rates. You make the rez thru their website but pay the hotel directly.

Maybe you can find something here.

Thanks bettyk. I too did a search for quad rooms and narrowed it to this Holiday Inn. By the look of it, location and price, it seemed the best way to go. Just wondering if anyone stayed there and their thoughts.

My family of four stayed at the Holiday Inn in Kensington for a week in July 2005. Our room was very large by London standards and I liked the location. We were very close to a major tube station (I cannot remember the line). If you need coffee like my husband there is a Starbucks around the corner. I found this area very nice for walking around.

namaka,

I, too, have been looking for rooms for a family of 4 and have narrowed it down to either the Holiday Inn Kensington or the Jury's Kensington.

I liked the fact that there was A/C, convenient subway transportation and prices seem as good as we're going to find. Reviews seem good for both here and on tripadvisor.com.

Perhaps we'll meet you there!
