Euston Travel Inn London
My husband and I are traveling to London this March (I know - cold and wet.) with our 15yr son and 13 yr old daughter. We don't want to pay for two rooms. The Euston Travel Inn offers a family room with a double bed, couch, and pull out single bed. For 99 pounds/night they offer a full breakfast for the whole family as well as family entry into one event per day, i.e London Dungeon, etc. Has anyone every stayed at this Travel Inn. Is the breakfast worth it? What about the area? Rooms clean and decent size? Any experience would be appreciated. If you have a better alternative for a family our size, please feel free to pass it on. Thanks!

I stayed there for three or four nights a couple of years ago. I had a double room, which was a decent size, but can't comment on family rooms. Breakfast was not included in my rate, so cannot comment on it. But I did eat in the restaurant one evening; I guess I was reminded of a Denny's or Perkins type of establishment.
The location is good, on the northern edge of Bloomsbury and near Euston station for buses, trains and underground. the are a number of reasonable restaurants nearby on Marchmount Street.
I remember liking this Travel Inn better than the County Hall location, but that was mostly because the staff was friendlier and significantly less stupid.

The other cheap option would be two hotel rooms on Priceline, but you might not gain with that considering the breakfast and attractions option. You'd have to work out what the value of those are.
I got the 3* Holiday Inn Kensington Forum (which has good reviews and a convenient location) for a bid of $64 a few days ago for July dates. Other people have gotten the Novotel Euston for bids of about $80 lately.
The following hotel is only a few years old and it has reasonable family rates which include breakfast (not a full English), but it's a bit less convenient. There are buses right outside the door, though, and it's 400 meters to the tube.

The area is fine tho not especially interesting. Bloomsbury and Russell Square are nearby.
The key to the Travel Inn is that their services are uniform: rooms large by London standards but no frills. If your budget allows (120GBP or so per night) I'd suggest an apartment but if 99 GBP is the range then you are probably in the right place.
I don't know about this location but all the TI's that have restaurants are like the ones ron describes. If you're only interested in a cup of coffee/tea and a muffin or fresh fruit, seek other dining opportunities.
We've stayed at the County Hall location and liked it for its location. I'd pick it again over the Euston TI. Can't respond to ron's comments about the unintelligent and unfriendlly staff comparison. We found the County Hall folks to be what you might expect of a budget hotel.
If you're not interested in getting two rooms, I'd be hesitant to go Pricelinefor 4 people in London.
