Qualtiy Hotel South Kensington London

Has anyone stayed at this hotel? It looks like it's located between the tube stops at Gloucester Road and Earl's Court, a block off Cromwell Road. I think the location is safe as we stayed near there a couple of years ago but is the hotel decent? Thanks.

I stayed here in March 2000 and posted my comments on this site. If you run a search for Quality Inn South Kensington, you should find it. I had tried to post the string, but it was too long.<BR><BR>The location is very convenient to the Tube and there are lots of places to eat nearby. The staff is helpful. However, the hotel is really in horrible shape. The rooms are incredibly small. The hotel was in the midst of repair, but I don't know how far or successful they were.

Thanks for the quick response Kathy. I'm also looking at the Comfort Inn Kensington which is on Cromwell in the same general area so I'll repost with that. I thought the Quality Inn looked good because it had air conditioning but the fine print said that only some rooms do.

I stayed there a couple of weeks ago. I wouldn't describe the condition of the hotel as "horrible", but it was a little rough around the edges. The location is good, the price is good. The sheets were clean, we got towels every day and a decent breakfast. If that is all you need, it's okay. I probably wouldn't stay there again, but it was okay for the money this time.
