I would read reviews on Trip Advisor. Regina is in an excellent location and in the past has been considered a good choice. Again I don't know as I have not checked it out in the past 10 years. Good luck.

It's at Place des Pyramides, not far from the Louvre. There's a statue of Joan of Arc.

I have no idea about the family room, but it is a very nice hotel. Friends of mine stayed there when they came to visit me a few years ago, and I liked their room. They have a nice cocktail lounge, too. Friends were very happy with it.

This is a tacky area full of parked tour buses and cheap souvenir stands. Street side rooms can be noisy in the evening. Popular with business groups and Japanese tour groups. Discount rates are the rule. Their other hotel is much better, and more expensive.

I'd agree with Oakglen, you are located in a busy area. I'd see if they had inner rooms, or noise proof windows. When you walk out the door, crowds at all hours.

But, to be fair, if you only need a place to put your head, once you walk out the door, you are easy walking distance to quite a few sites.
