Hotel Rate

Is 180 Euro/night (triple rate) too expensive for the Grand Hotel des Balcons in October? Breakfast is an additional 10 Euro/pp. Thanks.

I think that many of the clients consider it affordable. They make that much an hour.

Some of them right there.

More for a triple.

Could that be right? We stayed in a double there last June for about $75. I thought it was a good value, but 180 Euros for a triple seems too high.

Thanks Liz. I feel it's too expensive also. But that's the rate they quoted us and it's on their website also. The rates must have increased since last year. I thought it was supposed to be a reasonably priced hotel. I think we will try a more budget place. I heard the Familia Hotel is good for location and rates. Are there any good or bad comments about that hotel?

hi,

it looks to be about right. all the sites i found show the range on a double anywhere from 79 E TO 110 Euros and the triple anywhere from 180-200 euros. i did notice that the triple says tripe suite which probably means 2 or more rooms. so your 180 seems right for the triple.

Gee, given the 180 Euro rate for three, you could get two rooms for less and have more room. At least there would be two bathrooms to enjoy. If the rooms are 80 Euros for a double, the single might be less. And even if it isn't, you aren't paying more. Just total up the two rooms and divide by three. Unless someone is concerned about sleeping by themselves.
