It's just an average rate.

Their own website rate is 162€...is that rate supposed to include breakfast?

http://www.henri-paris-hotel.com/english/rates.html

Check on www.hotelclub.net also.

It's a nice hotel in a great location. Do a search here on the hotel name (don't type anything over the "o&quotand you 'll see lots of comments. Also on www.tripadvisor.com
I thought it was worth the price for the location and room size. Breakfast is not included in the price.

I suppose I should revise my question. Is that a fair rate for the quality of hotel, location, etc.? If not, I would love to hear the name(s) of an alternate property for about the same rate, close proximity, etc. Thank you.

sandi_travelnut just answered the question as to whether the price 'fits' the hotel and location...There are so many hotels in that area, with a range between 120-220€ - anything in-between becomes quite subjective.

but what site are you using to book that quotes 167 when their own site quotes 162?

To answer your question further, the hotel seems to be highly popular recently per Trip Advisor reviews. The hotel's location is in the Latin Qtr., a very popular, central district for many visitors. The owners also own two other very popular hotels that are located on Ile St. Louis and one other in the 8th district.

Hi V,

>Is that a fair rate for the quality of hotel, location, etc.? <

Yes.

You can also enter <Paris AND hotel> in the "search this forum" box.
