Hi C,

Is there a reason why you want to stay on the CE?

I'm not sure what you mean by "very nice" but if you are thinking 4-5 star I doubt you can get it for that price, especially on the CE. Other places will be cheaper and offer better value. I can't really help, as I've never stayed on the CE and instead in budget places which probably don't suit your needs.

I stayed at a nice hotel for a few days which was very nearby, anyway, on ave Carnot (Hotel Regence Etoile) and very reasonably priced.

I've read the Hotel Kleber is nice and in that category, also. http://www.kleberhotel.com/

However, I'm not sure either one of those two hotels has triples, or that they would be in that price range, that's the problem. They are for doubles.

FYI, there are virtually no hotels right on the Champs Elysees -- I can only think of one, the Marriott, but it's not that cheap. Also, that is pretty cheap for that area in general, so you would do much better to stay in another area with cheaper hotels to get more for your money. Many people might prefer another area to not be as hectic as the Champs-Elysees, also (which is just stores, of course, and very expensive and busy).

classic - I also recommend
Hotel Regence Etoile, 24 Ave Carnot,75017 or Hotel Amarante Champs-Elysee, 19 Rue Vernet, 75008.
I stayed at Hotel Le Belmont in Rue de Bassano (one street below Vernet).
Have a look at their websites.
