Paris Hotel again (sorry)

I know that there are hundreds (well, maybe scores) of threads on this topic but now that we are booking our first trip to Paris, it seems important to get up-to-the-minute advice from my best travel source. Keeping in mind that I have a tendency to research myself into insanity, here are some well-studied possibilities:

*Britannique Hotel
*Relais Bosquet
*Hotel de Fleurie
*Hotel Millesime
*Hotel Saint Paul Saint Germain

Any thoughts? Comparisons? Thank you!

My vote is for Hotel Britannique, it is a wonderful hotel because of its decoration and for the great staff too...Moreover, the location is absolutely marvellous...One of the best location for staying in hotels....
http://www.hotel-britannique.com....you can see pictures of the hotel and you also can book your room!
Have a good trip!

I haven't stayed at any of the hotels on your listing, but I would choose the Britannique also. It's in a very nice location, near the Seine so it's handy to the 3rd - 6th districts and it's nearby La Samaritaine department store. I've walked past the Millesime, nice location but a bit too expensive. Same thing with Hotel de Fleurie, it's really expensive. Relais Bosquet is in the 7th district, nice and residential, just pretty quiet at night, and Hotel Saint Paul doesn't appeal to me personally.

Nobody obsesses about "where to stay" more than I do so here's some advice for what it is worth:

"Up to date information" is not exclusive to this board. If you haven't looked at TripAdvisor and read all the reviews about these hotels, if there are any, very carefully then you are missing a lot of potentially information.

The longer you ask the more subjective the information can become (believe me I know)...people trying to be helpful but using subjective terms like "too expensive" and "looks nice" or "looks bad" and so forth.

Personally, I wouldn't consider any of your choices but for reasons that wouldn't have anything necessarily to do with you.

Good luck but do try to make a decision soon.

I'll top this post with a question for Intrepid... you know we just HAVE to ask now... Why wouldn't you stay at any of the hotels Marsha mentions?
