We haven't stayed there, but are familiar with the hotel and the area. It's in an excellent location, only a couple of steps from the Arc de Triomphe. And at the price, you should expect the best.

You may want to check out the following web pages for a little more information. You can also check on Trip Advisor for some additional reviews of the hotel.

Hi glsebs!!!

If you want a good hotel in this area, I can advice you an hotel called the hotel Cambon, a 4 star hotel just near Tuileries...I promise you will not regret it!!!What I loved in this hotel was the color of their decoration..it is really wonderful...and modern...! If you want to have a look on this hotel you can look at it on www.hcambon.com! I regret but I never stayed in the Hotel Vernet...so I can't give any opinions! Have a great stay in Paris!

The Vernet, I'm assuming, is an excellent property as it's part of the Small Luxury Hotels group. Check out the SLH website at www.slh.com for the Vernet's page. It may have some special SLH offers-you never know.

I see the rooms are pretty large for Paris also. Nice location for the Champs Elysees...

I think that's a better choice than the Cambon-my opinion only.

Hi,
My husband and I stayed in Hotel Vernet in 1999, and it's a wonderful hotel located just off the Champ Elysee.

Although it's a small hotel, it had a luxurious touch to it. Service is first class, as is the buffet breakfast. It's a great choice.

We would definitely go back again to Hotel Vernet given the opportunity.
