WC = Water-closet. Isn't this an English word, TTT?

I've not stayed at the Hotel de France, but I've stayed at the Muguet and can highly recommend it. The Muguet is one of the most highly praised Paris hotels in this forum. I checked the Paris pages (http://www.paris.org/Hotels/) and there's only one comment for the Hotel de France whereas there are several for the Muguet, all positive. I don't think you'll go wrong with either one, but I would choose the Muguet based on persoanl experience.

I've been to Paris five times, the best of which has been at the Hotel Muguet.
I cannot speak about all of their rooms, but I do know, from past experience, if you ask for a room overlooking the Eiffel tower, you will get same-as I did- but if you get the last room at their place-feel lucky that you got it!!
You can't do better in all of Paris.
I am about to make another reservation there for next June and know I will love it.

I received a great number of positive responses for Hotel Muguet recently. I booked a few weeks ago for June 2003 due to its popularity. I was able to reserve but I suggest you book soon - just in case.
