HOTEL JULIS OR HOTEL JOSEF, PRAGUE

We are going to Prague in October and wondered if anyone had stayed at either of these hotels and if so which one would they recommend.

Many Thanks

It would help if you told us where the hotels are located in Prague. Old Town? Mala Strana? Josefov?

These are widely differing places.
The Aparthotel Julis is part of the Accome group which runs www.cityapartment.cz and is located right on Wenceslas Square. The Josef is on the other side of the Old Town just off Dlouha and is a very modern hotel. Personally I'd go for the Josef but only for location reasons.

I agree with Jason. Having stayed in both Old Town and at Wenceslas Square, I would recommend an Old Town location between the two.
You can search on the Josef here by name, and at tripadvisor.com
I've never read a bad thing about it.

While I don't know anything about Hotel Julis, my parents recently travelled to Prague for a number of days, and I booked them into Hotel Josef.

They were absolutely delighted with all aspects of the hotel, very modern, very comfortable, excellent staff and a fantastic location - so I'll recommend it on their behalf!

Thank you all for your help.

Location is important to me as I am unable to walk long distances, and would like a hotel close to attractions but not too noisy.

I have been on lots of sites and have managed to find Hotel Josef for 3nights in October £327 for 2 adults.
