Hotel in Marbella, Spain

Help! I need to book a hotel right away for two nights in Marbella that is near a beach.

Does anyone know anything about these hotels?:
Hotel H10 Andalucia Plaza
Hotel Puente Romano
Fuerte Miramar Spa
Hotel Guadalmina Spa & Golf
Don Carlos Beach & Golf

Please give me your recommendation (I don't want to spend a fortune)

I haven't stayed in the Don Carlos, but have stayed nearby. It's outside of Marbella - in Elviria. It's a lovely area with some very nice restaurants nearby. It's a short bus or taxi journey into Marbella itself. The hotel is very close to the beach.

Have you looked at the rates for these hotels?

We stayed at Puente Romano - which is directly on the beach on the road west of Marbella towards Puerto Banus. This was 5 years ago - and we loved it. But it's not cheap.

Thanks. The rates range from $200-450/night. I don't really want to spend $400, but I don't want to pick a hotel straight from internet listings. The Hotel Puente Roman is $427/night for two people the first week of April.

I am also researching hotels in Marbella for mid April. We will be there only 2-3 nights and probably won't have a car so I would like something within walking distance to shops/restaurants/beach. I need a triple rom and the prices all seem pretty steep!

We stayed at the Fuerte Miramar with bancotel coupons and it was a good deal, on the beach, and fine. Request an upper balcony room with a sea view if you can get it--the sunrise was spectacular.

You've probably already booked a room, but I was in your shoes not long ago so thought I would still offer an opinion!

I had troubled finding an affordable hotel on the beach, but ended up at the Fuerte Miramar - SPA and was so pleased!

A seaview room was affordable, I thought, and worth it! The room was well decorated and clean, and the staff was helpful.

The beach is easy to access, and there restaurants and shopping nearby.
