These are some scanned pics of one of our visits to Prague. There was a light snow during the night and the scenes of the bridge at dawn were rather surreal, with a few early walkers and footprints.
March was exceptionally snowy and cold...and the walk up Castle Hill was more than simply invigorating. But we warmed up in the Castle wing where there was a press conference for President Vaclav Havel (who died last month). We "crashed" it, as you can see. (The L.A. Times didn't know it, but they had two bogus reporters at the conference).

note: The reason I was somewhat photo-obsessed with the "Judith Tower" at the Mala Strana end of the brdge(see pics)....it was named for a 9th century Queen of Bohemia. It is also the exact name of my late wife....Judith Tower.
