Have you gone to the hotel's website? There is a place to click on "location" that gives you specific information on how to find it. Please try to find information before you ask for it.

As a matter of fact I did, but as I have experienced as well as have read on this site, sometimes the websites do not have the 'best' directions and perhaps someone could offer clearer or better directions. Personally, I feel that word of mouth is often more accurate than outdated websites.
Also, as I read through many postings, I am finding many sarcastic or rude responses to questions. Perhaps we all should answer a posting only if we have info and leave out the sarcasm or attitude.

If you go to the Venice transporation site (I apologize for not remembering it) they have schedules for the aliaguna water bus and the regular bus.
The regular bus I believe takes 30 minutes and drops you off at the train station which is a vaporetto stop.
At that point you would take the vaporetto to I believe ca d'oro (3-4 stops from train stataion) and it is a 2 mintue walk to the hotel. If the vaporeeto does not stop at ca d'oro which is not every vaporeeto you will need to get off at rialto which is a 10 minute walk.
The other option which we did was take the water bus to the fondamente nuova stop. You will have to check the schedules because this is an every other trip stop. Like I said we wrote down the times in advance and knew when we landed if we would make it. That takes about 20 minutes and is about a 10 minute walk to the hotel (ask the hotel directly for directions because it was not simple).
If you get on the waterbus and it is not going to the fondamente nuova stop you will have to take it with everbody else to P. San Marco and that takes over an hour. You will then have to get on the vaporreto and ride it 7-8 stops to ca d'oro (or rialto).

Oh, I didn't take the bus so I do not know what it cost but I am guessing very cheap (3-5 euros). The water bus to the FN stop was I believe 7 euro, but the whole ride to san marco is like 11. The water taxi which we did on return (and is fantastic) is subject to negotiation but in the vicinity of 80 euro. (much more expensive, but much quicker and they drop you off at the hotel).

I stayed there last March. It's a very nice hotel; decent size rooms done in (for me) over the top Venetian style, very modern bathrooms, good location on a small canal in the Cannaregio area. Helpful front desk. This hotel has been mentioned several times here; a search will bring up some other reviews, mostly favorable.
