hotel lisbona or violino d'oro in venice

Please help me decide which of the two is better
Lisbona
violino d'oro
both in san marco and similar price...

tripadvisor has better reviews abt lisbona but i feel that violino is better from pictures

If a hotel website only shows one or two photos of rooms, rest assured those are the best rooms in the house. Don't assume that they are all the same.

Have you tried searching this site with the name of each hotel and the word Venice?

I did with Violino, and quite a few threads popped up. Try that approach if you aren't getting enough responses.

There are a couple people over on the luxurycruisetalk.com board that stayed at Violino d'oro and liked it for the convenience to St. Mark's square. Go over to that forum and search the name. I got the impression it was a good value for the location.
