Holiday airfare
What is reasonable for airfare from Washington, DC to Munich over the Christmas holidays? The lowest we've found so far is $514 traveling between Dec 20-28. Are we likely to find something lower if we wait a little while or should we grab these fares while we can?

I think that's a reasonable fare. I would ask the airline if the price goes down, will they honor the lower fare.
We booked a trip to Ireland on American for $600. The fare went down to $520, and they issued us $80 vouchers.
Which airlines? We went to Munich on Lufthansa in September, and our fare was around $550. Lufthansa partners with Sixt rental car. We picked one up at the Munich airport, it was a BMW diesel, and I believe we got a very good price, but shop around - try autoeurope.com
Congratualations once again. Bavaria is a beautiful area during the winter time.

From my experience I don't think that they will be higher. I would wait until about the middle of September to get serious about purchasing a fare. I plan to go to Germany on 01/03/05, but do not plan to book until probably October. Keep watching the airline websites and keep checking Iceland Air. Sign up for their "Lucky Fares". Good Luck
