Help with public transportation Citta di Castello to Arezzo Italy
My husband and I need information on public transportation in Italy. Specifically: Can we take a bus or train from Citta di Castello on a Sunday (June) to Arezzo? Our ultimate goal is to get to Milan that same day in mid to late afternoon as we fly home from Milan on Tuesday.
We have spent many hours looking for bus schedules and information with little success. Thanks

While I suspect there must be a bus that may make a better, more direct connection, you can get there by train by backtracking with change at Perugia Ponte San Giovanni station. Some times of day offer better connections than others.
One example:
Dep Citta di Castello 8:41am
Arr Perugia P.SG 9:38 am
Then dep Perugia P.SG 9:51am
Arr Arezzo 11:00 am
At this website (sroll down to Train section), it mentions that at Arezzo train station there is a connection by bus to Citta di Castello:

This may be a good lead for you. Looks like SITA is the bus company you want:

I would think you could take a local trainline to a nearby, bigger city where you could catch a Trenitalia train.

Thank you - all of the above is helpful especially Jean's bus schedule website. However, it is not clear if the buses operate on Sunday and which schedule applies if they do. I don't speak Italian (unfortunately) and I've used Babel translator to translate the information on the schedule but that isn't clarifying for me if there is a Sunday bus as that would be the most efficient way to get from CdiC to Arezzo.

Thanks so much Zerlina and kybourbon
There is a column with an H at the top - it has an asterisk by it - does this have any meaning?
Translation is very helpful - and very different from translation I got from Babel
