Help with Itinerary for the Costa Brava

First time posting--I'm planning 4ish days on the Costa Brava in May 2023. I tend to be over-optimistic when planning how much I can realistically fit into one day. The problem is I've fallen in love with every place I've read about so far. I'd love some feedback on this itinerary draft.

Some context: traveling with friend, we'll have spent about 5 days in Barcelona already, renting a car for the Costa Brava, we have access to a homebase in L'Escala

Day 1: Drive from Barcelona to Tossa de Mar: explore, lunch
Afternoon: Explore the coastal walking paths between S'Agaro to Platja d'Aro and Palafrugell to Llafranc
Drive to Begur for exploring and dinner
End the day in L'Escala

Day 2: Drive from L'Escala to Cadaques for the Dali museum and flexible exploring time. Possibly drive home through Roses.

Day 3: Morning: Visit the Dali Theater Museum
Drive to Perpignan and Collioure (France) for the rest of the day. (I have family contacts there)
Drive back to L'Escala

Day 4: Drive from L'Escala to Girona and try to visit some of the Baix Empordà loop along the way.
Spend all day in Girona
Drive back to L'Escala

Day 5: Morning: drive from L'Escala to the Jardins de Cap Roig botanical gardens
Drive back to Barcelona to catch a flight to our next destination (Mallorca)

Sticking points for me: Are any of these days outrageously too busy?
Is it ok to miss the Castell Gala Dali de Pubol (the 3rd leg of the Dali triangle)?
I've kept this itinerary closer to the coast, so I'm missing Besalu and other more inland areas. Should I rethink any of that?
Each of these days are interchangeable based on museum operating days, weather, special events, etc.
Thank you for your insights!

My memory fades but I'm pretty sure you can do most of those visits by train.

Following as I plan a similar trip, also for May 2023 for 15 nights. Fly into Barcelona, rent car and base the first 4 nights in Girona with a day trip to Besalu. Then to Perpignan, France for 3-4nights (w/day trips). Cadaques/Roses area for 3 nights and then Calella de Palafrugell/Platja d’ Aro for 4 nights and then looking for a coastal town for a night or two near Barcelona airport (within an hour) to wrap up. All advice greatly appreciated. Thank you
