Help, which bridge is this in Paris?

I am trying to label a picture from Paris, but I cant remember what the name of this bridge is. Its the one right in front of Samartaine and it has round areas jutting out on both sides taht have seats you can sit on, like big round benches???

Thank you so much!!

I'm pretty sure that's the Pont Neuf (oddly, the oldest bridge in Paris), as I often walk north up rue Dauphine to the river and cross over to the big stores, including Samaritaine.

You can go to www.pariswater.com and get some very good info on bridges and fountains in Paris.

If you can see a series of small buttresses along the top edge, and each buttress has a small head carved at the bottom, it is definitely Pont Neuf.

A bridge that many people confuse with the Pont Neuf is the Pont au Change, which has several large N's carved into the side. The Pont au Change is near, but not directly at, Samaritaine.

subcon, the foofoo pont. That's great. Our daughter would say that.

A good laugh.
