Help w/itinerary from Prague,Croatia to Greece
Mom plus 17 and 18 yr. old daughters are traveling from Prague arriving July 26 departing on the 29th and then need itinerary for the rest of the trip. Would like to plan via Croatia and the other little countries such a Ljubjana, Montengro and then to Greek Islands first such as Crete and Santorini and then to Athens and then leaving back to the states on August 23. How long stay in each place and the modes of transportation to each? Thanks for your help. We will not be going to Austria. Where are the musts to see? Was thinking of a week and a half in Croatia and a week going to Greek Islands and then Athens for 2 days.

If you arrive in Prague, then the most difficult part of your trip will be getting to Ljubljana, which is the capital of Slovenia. The train is probably 10 hours or so, via Austria and airfare is quite expensive for such a short trip.
From Prague you can get a lowcost airfare to Dubrovnik or Split for about 100EUR one way on skyeurope.com But to Ljubljana it might cost 350EUR RT with no discount for a one way ticket. So if budget is a concern, you might want to consider modifying your itinerary to include a train ride from Prague to Slovenia via Austria, or skip Ljubljana entirely and fly down to Split and enjoy the Split, Dubrovnik and some of the islands such as the newly chic Hvar Island.
From Croatia to Greece shouldn't be too difficult, your options are probably, train or flying to Athens and then take the ferry or another plane out to Crete and then work your way back to Athens by ferry.
