Is it only ME who thinks that this question is weird?
I mean these folks planning on building a home in Tuscany, the dream of so many people, but they can't choose a name and are asking for opinions?
I think this is one of those come-along e-mails to pull people's strings, if they were real they would go and visit the site and look for inspiration around them, not Villa Fodor.
Maybe next we will see people asking for advice on what to name their children? Fodora or Fodoro?

Hello Oklahoma_Traveler, if I remember correctly your son was in the military. He came back to the base near Vicenza earlier this year and you were going to Italy to meet with him. How is your son and where is he now? I hope all is well with him and with all of you.
Will the house you will be building be in Italy or in Oklahoma? I have been under the impression that your new house will be in Oklahoma..but you will be building your new house in the Tuscan style. I have some friends that are doing this in Arizona. I am terrible at coming up with names..I needed help naming my dear daughter, our dogs, our boat etc., so I am not the one to offer a fantastic suggestion for naming your house. But I do hope you son is doing well and I certainly wish you much happiness in your new home.

AND THE WINNER IS .....
We have decided on "Villa Lago Bello" (lago bello meaning Beautiful Lake). Thank you all for your thoughts and suggestions. I have to say, it was VERY tempting to go with Ittakesa Villa but hubby ixnayed that one. Seriously, we had a hard time deciding because some of the suggestions described our lot so well. We finally decided to go with the most comprehensive description which is simply a beautiful lake.
Challicewell: Our house will be built in OKLAHOMA, not Tuscany -- that's another dream, not this one! We have been to Italy several times and got the inspiration for the type of home we want from there, not from this website, or Villa Fodor as you describe it!
LoveItaly: Thank you for remembering my son. Yes, he did return to his base in Vicenza (from Afghanistan) in March. We had a wonderful reunion with him -- just like the happy, tearful, poignant reunions you see on the news occasionally. But unfortunately his sister who had traveled with us had some health problems and spent five days in the local hospital in Vicenza. As a side note, she got TREMENDOUS care while in the hospital and we were very, very impressed with the health care professionals there. None of them spoke English, and none of us spoke Italian. However, the U.S. military provided her -- a NON-military-dependent -- with an Italian national liason who was fluent in English who was with her every time she saw the doctors/nurses and who translated every piece of paper into English for her upon her discharge. It was heartwarming to see our tax dollars at work in a positive way.
Needless to say, though we were IN Italy we did not get to see much of it except the hospital. She, by the way, recovered completely. The good news is that my son was transferred to Bamberg, Germany a few weeks ago and we will be traveling there to see him in November.
Again, thank you for helping us come up with ideas for our house. We met with the builder today and told him the name of it -- he loved it!

Oh Oklahoma_Traveler, I love the name of your new home also!
And I am so glad your son returned to Italy safe and sound. And your son now being in Germany is good news as is the fact you will be seeing him in November.
Your daughter, how scary for all of you but how wonderful to hear about the excellent health care she received OT.
I hope you will all be able to go back to Italy again at some point..obviously I "love Italy" too!
It sounds as though all is well in your life, at least I hope so. Enjoy your new home when you are finally able to move into it, it sounds wonderful and best wishes to you two and your children. And thank your son for me regarding his service to our country. Best regards.
