Help please with location of Rome Apartments
My original choice of apartment in Rome is not available - I have narrowed it down to these three but would probably like to choose the one that is in the best location.
What would your thoughts be please?

Do you have street locations? The first one doesn't have a map to click on unless you join the website nor does the last one. The 2nd appears to be quite a distance - at the far edge of Trastevere.
#3 mentions via Leonina (although it doesn't give exact location of the apartment) and the picture shown is of the flower shop (you can see the Coloseum in the background) at the corner where via Leonina changes to via Madonna dei Monti the cross street is via Serpenti. I stayed in the area (Piazza Madonna dei Monti) in September. It's a very short walk to the Coloseum, Forum, Piazza Venezia, a couple of minutes to the Cavour metro stop(you enter from Leonina).

Be certain to read and understand the fine print with Homelidays. While most of their listings are legit, some are flat out frauds. If you buy the "insurance", it doesn't matter, because it doesn't insure against fraud. If the apartment doesn't exist, it is "fraud".
There have been a number of threads on this.

Thanks KY,
Number 3 does seem to be the best location. The price is right - this is a flying visit to catch up with my son who is doing the European year trip - so I do have to watch my pennies. He has good testimonials and I have used homelidays before so will go with that one!
Thanks for your input.

Hi Stormbird,
Yep, go for the Monti apartment. At least you can walk to a lot of the sights. The other two are too far out. Enjoy italiannotebook.com before and after your trip. It will all mean more. Have a great visit with your son, he should be able to guide you around.
