Help overnight shipping to the UK

My husband had his passport stolen in the UK, and no he didn't listen when I told him to take a copy of his passport with him. I have his certified birth certificate to ship to him so he can go to the embassy, as he needs a passport by next Friday the 20th, so I need to make sure he gets it. Is Fedex International or UPS international more reliable for on time delivery, rates are the same. Just need to make sure it is there in time for him to take the train to London for embassy appointment

My daughter goes to school in London and we use DHL. It is very expensive though.

We have had one or two problems with UPS - but never with FedEx (out of perhaps 50 or 60 packages).

Thanks for the responses, ended up shipping with fedex, delivery time supposed to be earlier, I was afraid if they missed the schedule, documents would not arrive until Monday, which is when he is supposed to be at the embassy
