Help me please.. E-Mail address for Hungary
I didn't know where to post this. I'm sorry. My Aunt in Hungary wrote me a letter recently, and put her son's e-mail address in it, so I could write to her and my family that way. I have repeatedly tried to e-mail them with what she wrote for the address, and using different mixes of what she wrote me, and when I go to send it, it says the address is to long more than 16 letters. It won't send! This is what she wrote me...
internet. szami kovacskukac dominet pont hu
there is an accent over the a which I can't do on my pc.. could that be the problem ?
I sent it to
kovacskukasdominet.hu I also used...
kovacskukac.hu
I also used a few others I can't remember. What can I be doing wrong? please help me. Thank you in advance for any help. Alizka

I just checked and there is an internet provider site called dominet.hu
From that, I'm guessing his address is something like:
[email protected]
(you always have to have that @ symbol in there or it's not a valid email address)
Hope that comes close and you reach him.

hi Alice. the solution is most likely this: "kukac" in hungarian means something like "worm", but with the computers it means the @ character. Also "pont" means "dot".therefore try to write @ instead of kukac. it might work.
I hope i could help.

I think hundani has it. The address, I would bet, is [email protected]. It should be that simple. Good luck.
