Gotcha, wren. Yep, Orange it is...way to go, BR!

By the way, Orange does rhyme with *two* words in English if you say them fast enough: door hinge.

And one other by-the-way...John McPhee wrote an excellent book called "Oranges"

Hmmm......ok, building on the A. 8 letters, the A is the second letter.

This doesn't build off anything -- though it was inspired by "Passport" -- is not a European name, and is really a groaner, but what 7-letter word could be another name for a chair?
