Hardon - I'm afraid you mistakenly hit the wrong website. This site is for bitter old people who have nothing better to do than make fun of kids being kids. When they were your age they were so stoned-out on pot and acid they sounded ten times more incoherent than they accuse you of being. I commend you for being polite while so many were just downright rude and condescending toward you.

The suggestions to visit Lonely Planet and Let's Go are good ones. Virtual Tourist might help too. You're gonna have to get around by train since you're too young for car rentals. Research the rail passes carefully because there are so many choices. It sounds like you'll need a German Railpass since you're staying in country the whole time.

You'll have a blast in Munich with all the different beer halls. Don't just go to the Hofbrauhaus (the most touristy). Be sure to meet the locals at the Augustiner and Hackerbrauhaus. Check out this website:

..." It's because im lazy"...
darlin, you must be 17 then LOL
My son was in a band that travelled all over Germany in the summer to the music festivals. That sounds like something you should look into..they are huge, go on for days and you will meet a multitude of males and females that are in your age group and looking for fun and adventure.
Be careful, I agree with the advice, to be responsible and get home to your Mamas safe and sound

Come on, you are pulling the Fodorites collective leg. Why would you write here in the first place? Go over to Lonely Planet or Thorn Tree. And I am not old.

I do think this is a troll, but Patrick, I have to say that my 17-year old daughter uses the word "random" all the time. As in "Elyse said such and such and we said, that was so random." That sentence regarding the random thoughts rang true to me .

oh hard one, please i'm begging you... try Lonely Planet for a more sympathetic audience instead of a lecture from your mom & dad like you seem to be getting here.

to all of you complaining about spelling, writing, etc. don't you get out on the internet anyplace other than this? it's the way of the world these days. sheez.

IMHO, I think that most of us have taken to using "internet slang"!
