Go and see the museums with original works of art. You may never get that chance again. Beer you can always buy.

Hey, I say drink beer, those museums aren't going anywhere!

Seriously when you get into a town look for local papers, free entertainment guides, postings at youth hostels to find activities (concerts, music, street festivals, outdoor movies, etc.)

Check www.lonelyplanet.com on The Thorn Tree bulletin board for more posters your age than here.

Lonely Planet, Let's Go, Rough Guides are guidebooks that might give you some ideas. Not sure which would be best for Germany specifically.

Hey it's taken more than beer to get me through a few museums. Most recently the modern art museum in Bordeaux, France.

Good lord, how are you supposed to see fecal matter spinning in a washing machine while alcohol free?

Couldn't say, but at some stage I'd try to fit in a remedial English course before launching yourself on the job market.

Please tell us your screen name isn't a suggestion of what you're really looking for!! If so, your instincts will guide you far better than we can do here.

How many of you want to bet we've been had by another troll?

If this isn't a troll post, then I fear for the future of literacy and the education system in the US.

The advice about going to Eurotrip.com is good. It is a great website with lots of good advice from younger travellers about hostels, nightclubs, travelling with a budget, etc.

Trust me 'Hardon', we have more than the typo to laugh at.

Come on, folks, please don't give the troll oxygen.

If you can't be bothered writing English, why should any of us waste our time giving you advice?

Germany is a fairly large place.

Do you have interests other than getting drunk?

You might find visiting Buchenwald a sobering experience.
