Thanks, Jason and Rob |
Go and see the museums with original works of art. You may never get that chance again. Beer you can always buy.
|
Hey, I say drink beer, those museums aren't going anywhere!
Seriously when you get into a town look for local papers, free entertainment guides, postings at youth hostels to find activities (concerts, music, street festivals, outdoor movies, etc.) Check www.lonelyplanet.com on The Thorn Tree bulletin board for more posters your age than here. Lonely Planet, Let's Go, Rough Guides are guidebooks that might give you some ideas. Not sure which would be best for Germany specifically. |
|
Hey it's taken more than beer to get me through a few museums. Most recently the modern art museum in Bordeaux, France.
Good lord, how are you supposed to see fecal matter spinning in a washing machine while alcohol free? |
Couldn't say, but at some stage I'd try to fit in a remedial English course before launching yourself on the job market.
|
Carol, I think you are on to something.
|
Interesting screen name.
Can 17 year old travel and drink in Germany? Neil, that might be a start :D |
Please tell us your screen name isn't a suggestion of what you're really looking for!! If so, your instincts will guide you far better than we can do here.
How many of you want to bet we've been had by another troll? |
I'll second Carol's

If this isn't a troll post, then I fear for the future of literacy and the education system in the US.
|
about the screenname its what my friends call me because my last name is similar.
I promise that i am seventeen, so is rob. also, and rob is half german and he is sure we can legally buy beer, and we will. Keep the suggestions coming and not so many random thoughts plaease. |
and i can write just find
|
that was just an easy mistake, those of u who are laughing at the typo
|
The advice about going to Eurotrip.com is good. It is a great website with lots of good advice from younger travellers about hostels, nightclubs, travelling with a budget, etc.
|
Trust me 'Hardon', we have more than the typo to laugh at.
Come on, folks, please don't give the troll oxygen. |
If you can't be bothered writing English, why should any of us waste our time giving you advice?
|
The kid is not the president, now there's a guy whose english should be attacked.
|
With a name like yours, Buddy...I wouldn't worry too much about anything these days.

Germany is a fairly large place. Do you have interests other than getting drunk? You might find visiting Buchenwald a sobering experience. ((I)) |
