Help! Difficulty Booking Hostal del Cardenal

Does anyone know a website for getting a quote for booking Hostal del Cardenal for July 21 to July 23. It's very frustrating. Is it booked this much in advance??? We found a website that asks you submit your credit card info. before giving you a quote and that's a crazy idea, no matter how much we want to stay there. Suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I suggest you send them a fax or phone them directly at 34 325 224900 fax 34 925 222 991. Give them your email and deal directly.

It's been a couple years, but I think that's one hotel I booked by fax rather than email.

2CdnMMs,
I booked the Hostal del Cardenal by phone.
It shouldn't be completely full for late July this far in advance. I've snagged a summer room there with shorter notice, even for Corpus Christi Sunday, Toledo's busiest day. But... it is very popular because it's featured in all "small & charming" hotel guides plus Rick Steves and is fairly small-27 rooms.

Either phone, fax or email
[email protected]

Or try this email that's listed in all my guides:
[email protected]
(Frommers, A.Sawday, Official Hotel Guide, Rick Steves)

But then, the Michelin Red Guide '04 lists yet a different email:
hostcardenal@retemail,es (but that may connect you to the restaurant) ????

Good luck!

Thanks to everyone with great suggestions. I remember seeing a reservation letter format in Karen Brown's guide book in spanish but I have recently returned it to the library. Luckily, I went to her website http://www.karenbrown.com/news/resfo...servation.html and found an electronic version. So I edited it accordingly and have sent it off to [email protected]. I'll let you know how it goes!
Gracias un otra vez, thanks again!

For what it's worth, everybody we met there spoke perfect English, so you shouldn't have to worry about the emails or faxes being in Spanish.

Thanks 2CdnMMs,
I'm filing that away. The Michelin red guide was right for this one!
