Help Again! Train Amsterdam to Paris.

I finally got a chance to try to book my tickets for this train on SNCF according to your instructions. Problem is there is no PREM for this ride so I can't print the tickets. Question now. Am I better off just waiting til I get to Amsterdam and puchasing my tickets when I arrive (3 days before leaving for Paris)...or do these tickets really sell out. I'm saving about $20 booking ahead per ticket. But, I'm a little bit nervous that the tickets won't be at my Amsterdam hotel if I have them mailed there. I't s funny, I've arranged every other facet of our trip, but this train issue is bogging me down. Thanks for your help.

Hi R,

Book ahead.

Call or eml your hotel and let them know that you will have the tickets sent there.

The tickets should be in Amstdm in a week.

Again, call or eml the hotel to make sure that they arrived.

Can't you book them but pick them up at Schiphol..? or just trying to avoid any lines?

Hi, you will still get a seat if you book 3 days before, there are lots of trains and also you can catch a train to Brussels every hour from Amsterdam then change for Paris.I understand it may seem a bit scary for you but they are very up to date in Amsterdam!! Only drawback is it may take a while in the booking office, but as the other emailer said, just let your Hotel know and they will keep the tickets for you if you prefer to have them mailed.

Thanks for your replies. So far I emailed my hotel, but haven't heard back...so I'll wait a bit.
I'm a long time travel lover (especially Europe!), but new to Fodor's Forum and I'm really enjoying it.
Everyone's so responsive and helpful...it's great.
Thanks again.
