Hello fellow Fodorites. I have not been around since 2012. I hope it's ok to re-enter this amazing travel community of lovers of all things "Spain". I am THRILLED to see some familiar names and some newer ones too. It may take a while to get up to speed with any tech changes so feel free to clue me in. I was INSPIRED to come back to these forums by Ekscrunchy's latest trip report which blew me away! EKS you are an amazing woman! Maribel, (our beloved) I am also grateful that you are here again & I see the Fodorites were about to hunt you down! I thought of you often when in March I was alone in Jerez at the flamenco festival. I thought, "wouldn't it be more fun if amsdon were here with me enjoying all these wonderful flamenco performances?"
Ekscrunchy was busy with her dining, and I was busy with my flamenco, but we finally met at midnight at her hotel!

Maribel , absolutely yes! i would have loved to have been in attendance. If you can believe it i've never been to the yearly Jerez festival in person?
(Sacrilege Dios mio ! Don't tell anyone though 😉because i've made recommendations for classes to young American dancers )

Thankfully lots going on in the world of flamenco again! Looking forward to discussing with you & all the fodorites. I haven't seen Kimhe here yet but i just started scratching the Fodors surface.

For those that are asking about flamenco shows you may or may not know my love of the art form is unbridled.
