@};- Hello fellow Fodorites. I have not been around since 2012. I hope it's ok to re-enter this amazing travel community of lovers of all things "Spain". I am THRILLED to see some familiar names and some newer ones too. It may take a while to get up to speed with any tech changes so feel free to clue me in. I was INSPIRED to come back to these forums by Ekscrunchy's latest trip report which blew me away! EKS you are an amazing woman! Maribel, (our beloved) I am also grateful that you are here again & I see the Fodorites were about to hunt you down! I use my cell phone, my I-pad and my laptop for spending far too many hours on Fodors!

I thought of you often when in March I was alone in Jerez at the flamenco festival. I thought, "wouldn't it be more fun if amsdon were here with me enjoying all these wonderful flamenco performances?"
Ekscrunchy was busy with her dining, and I was busy with my flamenco, but we finally met at midnight at her hotel!

E K S !!!!! i am thrilled to see you and again i want to thank you for your inspiring trip reports that got me back in the loop. Feels like i've never been gone.
Maribel , absolutely yes! i would have loved to have been in attendance. If you can believe it i've never been to the yearly Jerez festival in person?
(Sacrilege Dios mio ! Don't tell anyone though 😉because i've made recommendations for classes to young American dancers )

Thankfully lots going on in the world of flamenco again! Looking forward to discussing with you & all the fodorites. I haven't seen Kimhe here yet but i just started scratching the Fodors surface.

For those that are asking about flamenco shows you may or may not know my love of the art form is unbridled.
Anyway you don't know how much how happy this
