If you know of others...
We are looking for 2 studios/apartments in the same bullding or within a few blocks of each other.
there will be 2 adults in each studio/apt.
Our budget is 100 euro per night per studio/apt.
We only want to be in the 4th arrondissment.
Sept 25-29,2009

Thank you

jetsetj,

I've read not too flattering reports about yellowstay on Trip Advisor. You may want to do a search there.

www.parisbestlodge.com had studios in the Marais and 2 on the same street: studio Le Marais and Bourg Tibourg.

I have not heard of escalea before.

I think that www.vacationinparis.com also has some units in the same building, I believe in the Marais.

Good luck!

I'd also check out vacationinparis.com. They're a great agency to deal with. I've never heard of the two agencies that you've mentioned. Happy Travels!

Just call vacationinparis.com during the work week. They're in New Jersey and have a toll-free number. I called them and asked if the apartment I wanted was vacant and they said that it was. Then I mailed them a personal check for $300. to hold the apartment. They sent out the invoice right away. Two months before my scheduled arrival date, I mailed them a personal check for the balance, and received the keys to the apartment 2 weeks before leaving home. I then mailed back the keys within a week of arriving home and they mailed back my $150. key balance. It couldn't have been easier.

In November, I thought I might go to Paris in December, so called them again and gave them my tentative dates. Right away they told me which apartments were still available. I was on the computer checking them out as we were speaking. They are a really friendly and helpful company to deal with. Happy Travels!

Another positive here for Vacation in Paris. Used them in November '08 for a last minute trip and they were great - friendly and efficient staff member (Donna, I believe) even stayed a few minutes late on a Saturday to complete our paperwork. Paid via CC, no time to mail key so arranged pick up via their Paris representative, who also quickly delivered a second key when requested. Apartment was substantially as pictured on the site - on the small side but worked fine for a brief visit, had everything we needed (except internet) and a great location.
