Has anyone stayed at a Citadines Hotel in Paris?

I have heard good things about the Citadines Hotels in Paris. Any comments?

Jesse, Have never stayed at a citadines hotel, but I am familiar with their locations in Paris. I think the best located one is in the 6.th arr. on quai grand augustines. Great location, walking distance to many sights. Saint Germain des pres is a great area to stay in - Have a wonderful time!

I agree about the location of the one in Saint Germain is the best located. I have stayed both in Citadines with my family and in hotels when I go with my husband.
In my opinion when the stay is short for two persons a small hotel is as expensive and much more confortable because you have full service, the Citadines is justify in my opinion when you go with your family.

Stayed at Citadines St Germain for one month last spring. It's quite new and the kitchens are well stocked with all utensils, including a wine-opener. Get groceries in basement of La Samaritaine or small mkt on rue Buci.

We stayed at the Citadies both Tour Eiffel and Les Halles. Both were comfortable for our needs. Les Halles, overlooking the square waas lovely. We like being able to make and store ICE. I am considering the Citadines in Aix. Anyone have info?

Several years ago we stayed at the Citadines Voltaire Republique as a timeshare exchange. We loved the location and the roominess of the 1 bedroom. Having a kitchen with a small refigerator allowed us to stock up on wine & cheese and toast our travels in the evening. The laundry facilities in the basement allowed us to pack less or the trip. The staff spoke English and were quite helpful. We are planning on staying at the Citadines Bastille Marais in September. We have stayed at hotels in Paris including Place Des Vosges and Pavillon Bastille and preferred the Citadines to both.

michelle:
there was a previous message which could apply as response to your query. they supposedly always stay at opera vendome citadines. personally, have not tried citadines, but in the last 7 years, i have stayed only in the opera vendome area. it is where i feel safest and relaxed.
