Wow! I just looked at Lush and they sell their stuff online in Holland too. They even have a showergel for Sinterklaas.

I am going to have to investigate them further. Thanks for the link jent103.

Of course! They always have a lot of fun things for different holidays, especially Christmas.

I think I've tried a dry shampoo many years ago out of some necessity I can't recall and it worked to some extent. It just got rid of some of the oil. However, the kind I tried was in an aerosol can and maybe that isn't allowed either, for flammability reasons. This was it, Pssst:

Now I have blonde hair, though, so I think these things may not work so well or look so good if you have darker hair.

I've used dry shampoos for a few years now. They don't, imo, take the place of real shampoo but are more meant for those in-between days. I have fine hair that tends to dry out if I overwash but my roots get oily by day 2. I spray a little of the dry shampoo on my roots and it helps absorb some of the oil. My hair does't really look freshly washed, but it looks much better.

The ones I use (except for Oscar Blandi, which imo is the worst one I've tried) are all aerosol. I've used Pssst, Batiste and Algemarin, all of which can be found on amazon.com. My favorite is the Algemarin because the scent isn't as strong and it doesn't come out as heavy. I too have blonde hair...I'm not sure how well these dry shampoos would work for someone with darker hair because the powder comes out white like baby powder.

Bumble + bumble's hair powders come in colors as well as the standard white (for blondes). They work fine, though you won't look like you just got a blow out after use, then again I hate the fresh washed hair look for me. But that is just me. If you wash your hair everyday normally, the hair powders will not mimic regular shampoo.

I have tried many of the powders, and the best one I've found is Aveda's Pure Abundance Hair Potion - it really works well. The Fekkai Au Natural dry shampoo also works pretty well - no smell & gives you another day. I didn't like the Bumble & Bumble because I have dark hair, and the brown color was a big mess.
