H10 hotels - barcelona

Can anyone recommend one of these hotels in Barcelona? They look pretty good on the web but firsthand experience is always the best. We'll be in Barcelona for 3 nights in early april (last minute trip) so need to book something pretty soon. Thanks

You can check Maribel's guides at:

http://www.maribelsguides.com/

I know that she has a personal review of the H10 in Barcelona.

Here's some info I supplied last spring on our stay at the H10 Catalunyan Plaza.

Message: Replying to my own post---we stayed at the Catalunya Plaza. The rooms for the most part are EXTREMELY small. We were first given a room that overlooked the square that we thought was very small. After some conversations with the desk staff we were given a room in the back which resembled the rooms on their internet site and in their brochure. This room was adequate. We are not new European travelers and know that E-rooms are not as large as US-rooms but the first room and others we saw were ridiculously small.

This is a hotel with a superb location and great staff but I would think twice before staying there unles I waas guaranteed a room like the ones on the website.

We stayed in the Catalunya Plaza last year and thought the location was superb. I too was worried about the room size and requested one of their larger rooms and had the "large" room confirmed by email. Our room had a seperate seating area with a sofa leading out to a small patio with a table and chairs. Magnificent breakfast and free snacks and drinks all day - including wine! Enjoy Barcelona!

Go to TripAdviosr and read the reviews there which are much more up to date than the information in Maribel's Guides
