I stayed here a couple of years ago and was quite pleased. All rooms are newly renovated.Good grub, and in nice weather the outdoor terrace can't be beat for relaxing. The locals flock here for dinner. It was also a favorite watering hole for King Ludwig. It's just a short hop over to Fussen and Reutte.

WE stayed in a "family room" which was very nice. It had 2 rooms connected and one bathroom. In the morning we were awakened by cow bells in the pasture below.
The inn keeper is very nice and helpful.
the food is good, Had the the apple strudel twice. There are great hiking trails nearby and you very close to Neauchwanstein castle.
I would definitely reccommend it. YOu will have a car?? Get good directions from Reutte.
I am envious!

This is a great place to stay. Had a lovely room with a view of the mountains. It's in the countryside but still close to the castles and Fussen. Dinner was excellent so we ate here several nights. We would definately stay here again. Good choice!!
