Greece Itinerary in 7 Days

We traveled to Greece in Oct and visited Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini on our trip. We flew in and out of Athens and took the ferries to get to the Greek islands.

Here is our 7-day itinerary

Day 1 We arrived in Athens in the morning. On our first day in Athens, we visited the Acropolis museum and the ruins including the Temple of Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, and Lykeion Archeological site. We also visited Syntagma Square including the tomb of the unknown soldier and the Benaki museum.

Day 2 We visited the Acropolis first thing in the morning. It is recommended to book tickets in advance. The Parthenon, the Propylaea, the Erechtheion, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, and the Temple of Athena Nike are some attractions on the Acropolis hill. In the afternoon we visited the rest of the ruins including Ancient Agora, Roman Agora ,and Hadrian's library. We also walked around Monastiraki Square and enjoyed the nearby landmarks.

Day 3 We took the morning ferry to Mykonos. Once arrived, we visited Mykonos town including Paraportiani Church, Little Venice, and the Windmills. In the afternoon, we took a tour to Delos island.

Day 4 We visited the Mykonos beaches in the morning and visit Mykonos town in the evening to enjoy the sunset.

Day 5 We took the high-speed ferry to Santorini. On the first day in Santorini, we visited Oia and explore all the famous landmarks and photo ops.

Day 6 We visited Akrotiri in the morning and in the afternoon we walked from Fira to Imerovigli and enjoy the views on the walk.

Day 7 We returned back to Athens to fly back home the next day.

You can read the details of our trip here including the top things to do in each place.

Wow! You saw lot. I read only your short report. That is not a pace you could keep up for a longer trip but sounds as if you had everything well planned and enjoyed it.
