For all you Pittsburghers or anyone who can get to PIT: NMA/KLM is offering some great fares to Rome (trip must be completed by April 30th).
My daughter is in Pittsburgh so we just booked our flights!

USAirways is also offering some great fares. I just checked on our dates for curiosity and the price is 401, everything included. We payed 356 buying these dates (2/24 to 3/7) a couple of months ago, and it came to about 400 with airport fees and taxes. Fantastic fares!

Today's paper also showed Paris round trip for less than 299, but gee, I had my doubts. However, strange things do happen.

carolw. Is NWA requiring a trip from Pittsburgh to Detroit and then on to Rome? Sometimes that is the way they route us on their inexpensive fares.
That always seems backwards to me.

Sher-yes it is through Detroit. And you're right, it does seem backward. But that is Northwest's hub and I'll take it to get the inexpensive fare.
We'll still get to Rome the next morning!

And for those in northern California, NWA/KLM is showing great fares from SFO-FCO ($537 through April 30th).

Sigh...can't decide whether they'll flip out at work if I take off for a long weekend.
